Objectives

Chess gives students the opportunity to enhance their intellectual capacity such as to be able to focus, discipline oneself, concentrate, have spatial awareness and acquire strategic thinking skills. Board games let students practise control of their emotions, self reflection and solve problems.

Besides Chess, we also promote various board games.

Achievements

Our school won Chinese Chess competitions (organised by Shatin Community Youth Club) several times in the past few years.

We have invited external instructors to teach the board game HIVE to our club members.

We have invited external instructors to teach board game (Stockery) to learn the operation of the stock market.

The senior form students teach the junior form students how to play board games.
